6 Rules to Follow for Good Health

The Following Are a Few Simple Suggestions That Will Keep Anyone Healthier:

RULE #1

Watch your health carefully.  It is a health jungle out there.  Health is far more important than your wealth because if you have your health you can always get another job, another career and so on.  If you lose your health, however, you are in serious trouble in every area of life.

RULE #2

The most important aspects of health are not often discussed by the mass media. Health is not primarily about checkups, flu shots, vaccines, and mammograms.  It is about your daily living habits such as what you eat, the water you drink, the company you keep and how much rest you obtain.

In fact, the way to find the truth is to stay away from the media, in general.  Hopefully, this will change some day.

RULE #3

Rest is all important up to 10 or more hours daily if you feel you need it.  This is not “running away from life”. Most people are very overtired.  It taxes and weakens your mind and your body, and leads to disease, depression and even suicidal thoughts.

RULE #4

Drink 3 quarts each day of only spring water or carbon-filtered tap water.  Other types of water, and other beverages like coffee, tea, soda pop, juices and others will not hydrate the body and should not be used much.  Also avoid alkaline water machines and other designer waters, most of which are not that good at all.

RULE #5

Stay away from all extreme diets, including all vegetarian diets and all raw food regimens.  Instead, stick with animal protein daily and about 70% of the diet should be cooked vegetables each day.  Also, try to drink 10-12 ounces of fresh or bottled carrot juice each day.  Also, stay away from fruit and do not eat sweets, dried fruit, fruit juices and other sugary foods.  They are not needed and interfere with calcium metabolism and blood sugar regulation.  They are also too yin and will eventually make you sick.

RULE #6

Junk food, a drink of alcohol or two, or other indiscretions, are not worth the thrill. Someday, you will realize that what most people consider “living it up”, “partying”, and “having fun” is not at all worth the thrill or momentary pleasures.  They pay for it, often the next day, but definitely the next year or later on.  Try not to make excuses for partying and eating and living incorrectly for any reason at all.

Eck, a brilliant biochemist and founder of Analytical Research Laboratories.

Hi there....thanks for the email. Yes, Yoga can be a hazard to some, and that is why Lilo Peterman whom I studied with developed Easy Flow Yoga and was teaching it until she was 92. Much more softer on all the body....and Birkram, well that is another kettle of fish. A friend of mine ended up in emergency with a very bad heat rash after doing Birkram yoga. Not a very pleasant experience to be sure.

I attended my second meeting on Friday, and again, the group was stellar. Lots of very conscious people....who have found ways to find humour in their not so funny situation. So refreshing and I feel so welcomed. I just found a vintage exercise bike on Craigslist for $20.00 and it is parked in my living room this very moment, very lovely rich blue, no bells or whistles. And as it will be my buddy during the winter months, to keep my circulation up and humming. Lots of love, Kolodie. Hope all is well with you.

Hello Kolodie!

Thanks for your comments about Yoga... Most importantly as to why it is not suggested is due to Yoga moves energy in directions other than downward... and in order to become healthy and become aware, we need to bring our energy downward...

Such a good deal on your bike! Have fun!

NINE SERVINGS OF VEGETABLES

Please note that there is only one nutritional balancing science, developed by Dr. Paul Eck. All other claims made by other practitioners, not approved by Dr. Lawrence Wilson on his site, have altered Dr. Eck's principles and as such have no in depth understanding of the science, which is very unfortunate.

Further, altering even one aspect of a nutritional balancing program often ruins it rather completely.  This could be substituting different products that you like better, skipping an aspect of the diet or the supplements, or implementing other diets, such as GAPS OR PALEO, OR something else that people do all the time, such for example using other forms of meditation, other than what is recommended by Dr. Wilson.  In other words, using other products or diets, or meditation, conflicts with the entire program and it seriously reduces its effectiveness. Thus, nutritional balancing science is completely integrated, meaning that the sciences are used together in very unique way and should not be altered by yourself or other practitioners.
