Food and Etheric Development

Picture

I. INTRODUCTION

Let us begin with several key ideas or principles that must be clear or this article won’t make sense.

  1. Today, proper food and nutrition is one of the most important requirements for health and development.
  2. By development I mean the growth of the subtle human energy fields and the higher energy centers of a human being.   These give a human being much greater resilience to all disease, and a longer lifespan.
  3. This article introduces the idea of foods that contain more etheric energy.  This is a subtle energy found in all living things.  It is often related to souls who live in the food item.
THE RULES OF THIS DIETARY SYSTEM

1. To hasten early development, one must eat foods that contain more etheric energy.  The concept of ether energy is explained in the articles entitled The Ether Theory and The Four States Of Matter.

Higher etheric energy foods include cooked vegetables, whole grains, meats, eggs, animal fat, and dairy products.  These are the main recommended foods.

Other foods are much lower in etheric energy, including most raw foods, salads, fruits, seeds, nuts, beans and most refined and processed foods.  These will slow or prevent development.

2. Proper cooking enhances etheric energy in some foods.  These include vegetables, grains, beans, seeds and nuts.  Cooking does little to enhance etheric energy in meat and fat.

3. Limit animal quality foods because while their etheric energy content is high, it is somewhat toxic.  For this reason, this website recommends:

A. Eat animal products daily.

B. Eat them at the most twice daily.

C. Portions for adults should only be 4-5 ounces, and less for children.

D. Men can have only up to 8 eggs a week, and women only up to 6 eggs a week.
E.  Meats should not be overcooked.  Cook them no more than 30-40 minutes, in general, or up to 1.5 hours in an oven.
F. Eggs must be eaten soft so that the yolk is runny.  The best methods of cooking them is soft boiled or poached.

3. Other rules.  These have to do with the 7 System, described in other articles on this website:

  1. Eat foods that are more yang.  These, once again, are cooked vegetables, grains and some meat, eggs and other animal quality foods.
  2. Eat foods that spin to the right.  These are most natural foods, but not refined and chemicalized foods.
  3. Eat foods that move energy downward from the head to the feet.  Some people can feel these foods, which include cooked vegetables and some grains.  Their opposite are foods that send energy upwards, such as fruit.
  4. Eat calming foods.
DETAILS ON WHAT TO EAT

The Fast Oxidizer Diet and Slow Oxidizer Diet are described in separate articles, so I will not repeat them here.  Both the types of food and the proportions are important for development.

Below are food groups listed by the amount of etheric energy they contain.

FOOD CATEGORIES (from the highest to the lowest etheric energy content):

  1. Meats, especially red meats
  2. Eggs
  3. Poultry
  4. Fish
  5. Whole Grains
  6. Cooked vegetables, (but not fruits that are eaten as vegetables such as potatoes, peppers, summer squashes, eggplant, tomatoes, cucumbers and okra.)
  7. Cooked legumes or dried beans
  8. Nuts and Seeds
  9. Raw vegetable salads
  10. Fruits.
Now let us examine each of these food groups in more detail.  The foods below are arranged from best to worst.  This does not always correlate perfectly with the amount of etheric energy the food contains, but it usually does.

I. Meats (from the best to the least desirable):

  1. Lamb
  2. Chicken, dark meat
  3. Chicken, white meat
  4. Venison, elk and some other wild game
  5. Turkey, especially dark meat turkey, naturally raised
  6. Goat
  7. Rabbit
  8. Beef
  9. Bison and buffalo
  10. Pork and ham
Please avoid pork and ham because they often contain parasite eggs or ova, even if they are well-cooked.

II. Eggs and dairy products

Eggs, but only up to 8 a week for men and up to 6 per week for women.

Butter.  This is an excellent food, especially if it is raw.

Other dairy – only up to 4 ounces per day in total dairy products below:

  • Cheese – only raw, in general.  Organic is also better in most cases
  • Yogurt or kefir.  Plain only.
  • Milk – this is yin and not the best food.
  • Nut and seed milks – please avoid them all.  They are very yin and mostly water.
III. Whole Grains (from the best to the least desirable)

  1. Corn, especially organic blue corn.  Organic yellow corn is also not bad
  2. Millet
  3. Quinoa
  4. Amaranth
  5. Rice (rice would be higher on the list, but currently has some arsenic in it, so I cannot recommend it as highly at this time (2016)
  6. Wheat (including variants such as teff, einkorn, spelt and others).  Wheat used to be wonderful, but is hybridized today, so it is not as good.  The variants may be better, but this is not consistent so I did not list them separately.
  7. Buckwheat - slightly toxic
  8. Refined grains such as white flour, in particular.  White rice is not as bad, but not a great product.
IV. Vegetables (from best to least desirable)

Roots.  These tend to be excellent:
  1. Carrots
  2.  Onion and scallions
  3. Daikon or white radish
  4. Turnip
  5. Yam
  6. Sweet potato
  7.  Rutbaga
  8. Black radish
  9. Golden beets
  10. Garlic
  11. Parsnips
  12. Celery root
  13. Jerusalem artichoke
Cruciferous Vegetables – also excellent
  1. Brussels sprouts
  2. Cabbage
  3. Broccoli
  4. Cauliflower
Greens – good but more yin
  1. Kelp
  2. Spinach
  3. Beet greens
  4. Carrot greens
  5. Mustard greens
  6. Water chestnut
  7. Cilantro (cooked)
  8. Collard greens
  9. Bok choy
  10. Parsley (cooked)
  11. Chinese cabbage
  12. Swiss Chard
  13. Kale
  14. Dandelion greens
Other Vegetables - good
  1. Peas
  2. Green beans or string beans
  3. Celery
  4. Winter squashes – butternut, spaghetti and acorn squashes
  5. Mung bean sprouts
  6. Asparagus and artichokes (these are somewhat toxic, so have them rarely)
Vegetables that Are NOT Recommended:

1. Sea vegetables - except for kelp (nori, wakame, hijiki, dulse and others).  These are too high in mercury, so avoid them or eat them very rarely.

2. Nightshades - These are somewhat toxic.  A little cayenne powder is okay, however.  They include:
  • White, red and purple potatoes
  • All tomatoes *
  • Eggplant *
  • All peppers – both sweet and hot peppers *

3. Salad vegetables – these are too yin, especially when eaten raw.
  • Jicama
  • Red common radish
  • Summer squash *
  • Yellow squash *
  • Zucchini *
  • Cucumber *
  • Lettuce - all
* These are not really vegetables. They contain seeds and are really fruits.  All are too yin for regular consumption.

V. Cooked Legumes or Dried Beans:

  1. Lentils, especially black beluga lentils
  2. black beans
  3. Kidney beans
  4. Mung beans
  5.  Red beans (frijoles)
  6. White beans, butter beans and black-eyed peas
  7. Split peas and others

VI. Nuts and seeds (these are not recommended except for roasted almond butter and rarely other nut or seed butters):
  1. Almond, when roasted
  2. Pine nuts
  3. Most seeds: sunflower, sesame, alfalfa, chia, mustard, poppy, red clover and others
  4. Pumpkin seeds, squash seeds and peanuts (technically a bean)
  5. Most nuts – cashew, macadamia, chestnut, hazelnut, brazil nut, and others

VII. Fruits (these are never recommended except botija olives, and just a few per week maximum):

  1. Olives and olive oil.  This is the only fruit allowed on a nutritional balancing diet.  The others below are all too yin and very low in etheric energy.  They include:
  2. Small juicy fruits – all berries, prickly pear cactus fruit and others, kiwi, and others
  3. Small fleshy fruits - apples, peaches, pears, and plums
  4. Larger fleshy fruits - all melons, papaya and others
  5. Tropical fruits - avocado, coconut, palm fruit, noni and others
  6. Citrus fruits – orange, lemon, grapefruit, tangerine

VIII. Beverages
(
from the highest etheric energy content to the lowest)

  1. Spring waters – many are good.  Do not use Deer Park Water
  2. Carbon-only filtered tap water.  This often has some etheric energy in it and is usually the second best type of water to drink for most people.
  3. Whole milk (raw or organic, preferably).  This is quite yin and low in etheric energy.  Adults should never have more than 4 ounces daily.  Babies can have more if it is goat milk or in the Home-made Baby Formula.
  4. Mild herbal teas such as chamomile.
  5. One cup of coffee or caffeinated tea daily.  Avoid green tea because it is more yin and stimulating.
These are the only acceptable beverages for everyday use.  Other beverages are not recommended, as they are all too yin, toxic and have very low etheric energy.  These include reverse osmosis water, distilled water, nut and seed milks, coconut water, soda pop, and all alcoholic beverages.

IX. Herbs and Spices (from the highest etheric energy content to the lowest)

  1. Ginger root
  2. Ginseng root (quite toxic, however)
  3. Burdock root
  4. Horseradish root
  5. Mustard
  6. Coriander
  7. Turmeric
  8. Garlic
  9. Tarragon, especially for those with a four lows pattern
  10. All others contain less etheric energy.
SPECIAL FOODS FOR DEVELOPMENT

Today, certain foods seem to promote development, even if they are not the highest in etheric energy.  They are:

  • Lamb.  Most people need it twice or even three times per week, but not more.  Limit servings to 4-5 ounces only for adults and less for children.
  • Organic blue corn (either chips or tortillas).   Adults can have a bag or two of blue corn chips per week.
  • Sardines. (3-4 cans per week or one can every other day).
  • Sea salt.  Use liberally and add after cooking your food, not before.  Avoid refined table salt, which is a mineral-depleted junk food.
  • Bone broth.  This is excellent every day of every other day.
  • Other.  A little raw garlic powder, onion powder, ground mustard, ground horseradish, dill weed, tarragon, basil and ginger are excellent.  Most mild herbs and spices are also okay in small amounts as a garnish – not as pills.  Avoid very sharp spices, and avoid all chemicalized and refined flour and junk foods.
OTHER CONCEPTS RELATED TO THE ETHERIC ENERGY CONTENT OF FOODS

  1.  Eat as few chemicals as possible.
  2. Fresh food tends to be highest in etheric energy.
  3. Local food may be slightly higher in etheric energy.
  4. Frozen or dried food is fair, and usually better than canned food (except canned sardines are excellent).  However, eating canned vegetables is definitely better than not eating vegetables.
  5. Cooking food almost always enhances etheric energy.  This is a major reason it is recommended in the nutritional balancing diets.  I know it makes little sense, but it is true.
The exception is fats and some proteins.  For example, raw dairy is better than cooked dairy products of all kinds.  Raw meat has a slightly higher etheric energy content than cooked meat. However, it is not safe to eat.  For more, read Raw Food on this website.

WHY IS FOOD AND DIET NOT DISCUSSED MORE IN THE BIBLE AND OTHER HOLY BOOKS?

The proper food and diet is often the second most vital element in this type of development.  (The first is rest and sleep). This may shock some who are versed in spiritual literature.  Some of the older spiritual teachings basically ignore or even deny the importance of food and nutrition.  They focus more on prayer, meditation, reading scripture, chanting, and so on.

For example, the traditional Bible and even the Buddhist traditions do not spend much time discussing diet relative to other subjects.  However, we must understand the reasons for this.

The most important reason is that modern food processing had not been invented when the Hebrew and Christian bibles were written, and even less so when the Buddhist and Hindu texts were written.  Nor were the scripture writers concerned with patented drugs advertised everywhere, vaccines, junk foods, or thousands of toxic chemicals in the air and water supplies.

They were also not concerned with about two dozen heavy metals in the environment, electromagnetic radiation from computers and cell phones, ionizing radiation from A-bomb tests and other sources, and other sources of toxins found nearly everywhere on earth.

Nor were automobiles available that allow people to “drive-through” to buy their “fast food” and eat it “at the wheel” and “on the run” while driving the highways.  These are among the reasons why food and diet need to be one’s second most important focus, second only to rest, if one is to develop the body and mind today.

THE PROBLEM MADE WORSE BY DISINFORMATION

A related problem is that public health authorities and the public is brainwashed to believe that the tap water is safe, that fluoridation is needed, and that vaccines build health.  This is simply incorrect, and one must beware when listening to the news, FDA bulletins, nutritionists and dietitians who are often supported by drug companies or allopathic medical interests in some manner.

Sadly, the bureaucrats and public health officials do not read enough of the modern nutritional literature, which is not found in their scientific journals. This occurs because the journals are supported by drug ads, and those who pay for the ads do not want the truth to be known about their products and about our present-day food supply.

Parents, school teachers and other adults are little better.  Markets often mainly promote processed foods because they may make more money on processed food than on real foods, in some cases.  The result is a general population so ignorant that an illiterate peasant from the poorest nation on earth can know more about basic dietary principles than most college-educated Americans, for example.

As a direct result, children are ALL born ill today.  Then most are “well vaccinated” and “well drugged”, which tends to make them far worse by the time most reach adulthood.  All of these insults to the physical body severely impair etheric or mental development.

Fortunately, the tide is turning.  Organic foods, natural health markets, and more honest marketing of these foods is slowly waking up the population. Exploding health care costs and horrendous new illnesses such as autism, ADHD and the explosion in diabetes, cancer and other horrors are also waking up people to the truth about food and nutrition.

NINE SERVINGS OF VEGETABLES

Please note that there is only one nutritional balancing science, developed by Dr. Paul Eck. All other claims made by other practitioners, not approved by Dr. Lawrence Wilson on his site, have altered Dr. Eck's principles and as such have no in depth understanding of the science, which is very unfortunate.

Further, altering even one aspect of a nutritional balancing program often ruins it rather completely.  This could be substituting different products that you like better, skipping an aspect of the diet or the supplements, or implementing other diets, such as GAPS OR PALEO, OR something else that people do all the time, such for example using other forms of meditation, other than what is recommended by Dr. Wilson.  In other words, using other products or diets, or meditation, conflicts with the entire program and it seriously reduces its effectiveness. Thus, nutritional balancing science is completely integrated, meaning that the sciences are used together in very unique way and should not be altered by yourself or other practitioners.
