WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF LEAKY GUT SYNDROME?

This is an extremely common health condition today that affects most people, to a greater or lesser degree.

CAUSES

In almost all cases, the cause is improper diet.   Food items that contribute to it include:

  • Food chemicals
  • Wheat in any form
  • Fruit
  • Raw salads
  • too much meat
  • Vegetarian and vegan diets
  • Poor eating habits such as inadequate chewing, eating on the run, eating too fast, or eating standing up or while driving.
Stress also is another factor besides food that causes a leaky gut.

SYMPTOMS

Leaky gut syndrome can cause a wide variety of common digestive symptoms such as:

  • stomach pain
  • diarrhea
  • constipation
  • food allergies or intolerances
  • reduced absorption of nutrient
  • malnutrition
  • improper bowel flora or SIBO
  • inflammatory conditions and more.
TESTING

Some doctors recommend various tests to assess leaky gut syndrome but these tests are really not necessary.   Instead, it is best to assume that you have some degree of leaky gut syndrome, because it is almost universal.

HOW LONG DOES CORRECTION TAKE?

This depends upon how deranged digestion is when one begins.  It also depends upon how faithful one is with a nutritional balancing diet.  However, it can take several years or more if the digestive system is in bad shape.

CAN YOU CORRECT LEAKY GUT ON YOUR OWN?

It is possible to do it yourself with the Nutritional Balancing Free Program but it may take longer to figure. I would however start with the diet and avoid foods that can cause flare ups.  Your lifestyle also needs modification, such as resting more and going to bed early. 

Leaky gut, or “intestinal permeability” is linked with many conditions of the gut, the body, and the mind. While research is still figuring out exactly how this happens and what comes first, there are definitely steps you can take today to help optimize your health.

Please note that there is only one nutritional balancing science, developed by Dr. Paul Eck. All other claims made by other practitioners, not approved by Dr. Lawrence Wilson on his site, have altered Dr. Eck's principles and as such have no in depth understanding of the science, which is very unfortunate.  

Further, altering even one aspect of a nutritional balancing program often ruins it rather completely.  This could be substituting different products that you like better, skipping an aspect of the diet or the supplements, or implementing other diets, such as GAPS OR PALEO, OR something else that people do all the time, such for example using other forms of meditation, other than what is recommended by Dr. Wilson.  In other words, using other products or diets, or meditation, conflicts with the entire program and it seriously reduces its effectiveness. Thus, nutritional balancing science is completely integrated, meaning that the sciences are used together in very unique way and should not be altered by yourself or other practitioners.
